Meet your PHOTOGRAPHER

I have been obsessed with photography since I was probably 9 years old when I found one of my moms point and shoot cameras laying around, it’s been history ever since. I am unapologetically a quirky individual- a total dork. I snort when I laugh, and you better believe that I’m going to get in the most hilariously unpredictable positions to make sure we get the best angles in your photos.

Being a wedding and elopement photographer is the perfect job for me because I thrive in high stress situations; where some see the possibility of errors, I see an opportunity for great success. I also love that with being a wedding photographer I am constantly meeting new people while visiting amazing places, and having the opportunity to explore different cultures; capturing genuine love stories also keeps my cup overflowing. Being a wedding photographer allows me to combine all of that love while pushing my creativity to new heights; I couldn’t see myself pursuing any other career.

A look beyond the lens

DEVEN: FIANCE, SECOND SHOOTER, & ASSISTANT

Chances are you’ll see Deven at some point in the process whether you’re booking portrait session or planning a whole wedding. He is my high school sweetheart, and we’ve been pretty much inseparable since we first met over 10 years ago when my cousin literally dropped him off at my house after I refused to go on a blind date with him. Talk about a romantic introduction. Deven is my main secondary photographer, he assists me with gear and he’ll be at our session ready to “hold the things” and get the fun angles. Having him available helps me tremendously and ensures we get some extra great content along with mine!

OUR FUR BABIES

It’s important to know your photographer and who they are as a person, right? Well, I’m a dog mama to two old English bulldogs and 1 Frenchy; Tank, who my big old / baby boy, who loves nothing more than cuddles and bribing his grandmother for popcorn with his big beautiful eyes. Then Luna, who is our other baby girl. She is such a love bug, going from running around the house at 90 miles an hour to snuggling right up to you like nothing ever happened. Lastly, Stormy, she is full of attitude and snuggles.

YOOPER AT HEART

Traveling is a second nature to me, but Michigan’s beautiful UP has always held a special place in my heart. Since I was a kid, my family traveled up north almost weekly in the summer. By the time I was a teenager my family had built a cabin in Germfask that ran totally off of solar panels; if you know me I’m always down to ‘rough it’ but who doesn’t love a little running water? Taking trips up nearly every weekend and sitting around the campfire is something was something we enjoy doing as a family. With wedding season being very busy for me, I don’t always get to make the time for those trips like a used to, but I try to go up at least a handful of times during the summer as I’m able to.

YOUR PERSONAL HYPE GIRL & BEST FRIEND

I live for positivity and hyping others up. If I’m not swooning over you at your engagement shoots, boudoir session, or on your wedding day then you may want to make sure you have the right photographer with you. As someone who always struggled with body image as a kid and into my teen years, I understand that everybody has their insecurities and whether they are big or small, I want to make sure you know and feel the way that everyone else sees you as. By the end of our shoot together, it’s going to feel like we’ve been besties for years.

LIFE OUTSIDE OF THE GRIND

When I don’t have a camera in my hand you can probably catch me either working on some aspect of my business, hanging out at our cabin in Blanchard around the bonfire, or gardening since I am Dahlia obsessed. I also run a rep program for my boudoir brand so that tends to keep me pretty busy too when I’m not working with clients or on weddings.

FIRE UP!

Aside from running my photography business, I’m also a full time HR Director at a local non-profit. In 2022 I earned my BSBA from Central Michigan University, and this past fall of 2025 I began working towards my MBA – I know I am absolutely crazy. Juggling being a momma, making time for hobbies, and photography is a challenege and a joy.

I know that when it comes to choosing your wedding photographer, there are so many choices to pick from, and I’m grateful that you’ve decided to take a look at my work; I strive to provide romantic and timeless images that will be treasured for many generations to come.
